The Atlanta-based pop and R&B trio is made up of sisters Mimi, A-Ni and Kena, WILL BE PERFORMING AT THE 11TH ANNUAL ATLANTA HIP HOP DAY FESTIVAL!!  They have just released their latest single “Leverage” and are quickly on the rise and being referred to as the new TLC!

The three sisters named as one of the “8 Black Girl Groups You Need To Add To Your Summer Playlist ASAP” on BET.com in 2019.   The three were inspired to form a girl group after attending a Mindless Behavior meet-and-greet. They released a self-introductory EP, The Mako Girls Experience, where the girls got to show off their rapping and singing. As one of the few teen pop groups out on the scene, their mission is make clean and positive turn up music. 

MAKO Girls have been featured on top tier blogs such as FreddyO.com, Black Celeb Kids, Drama Like The DJ.com, This Is 50.com, TripleHQ.com, CeeSoDope.com, Vh1’s Delania Dixon’s Diva Gals Daily.
