Finally a rapper using their power that resides in lyrics to pushing thoughts to our youth. Growing up in a diverse neighborhood, I have nothing but love for anyone who respects me as a human being. Couple things, try not to put yourself in questionable situations, don’t resist arrest. I know there is more to it, but noting as a kid in a small town with a corrupt police department, they harassed everyone regardless the color of you skin or your gender. They got off on using their authority. It all comes down to #respect and sadly too many people lack it. Also, the media is fueling the divide. I have had racist things said to me. But I knew it was fueled by ignorance taught at home bc of unfortunate circumstances someone had faced. Hate breeds hate. Period. I refuse to feed into media BS, rally phrases, etc. do you, educate yourself, love and teach your family right, live life to the fullest. Amen
