Gucci Mane’s New 1017 label has released the ‘So Icy Gang Vol One’ compilation abum. The album is the first to be released from his New 1017 label, partnering with Atlantic Records. Earlier this summer the Atlanta rapper made waves stating his dissatisfaction with Atlantic Records and asking fans if he should go independent. He referred to the label as “polite racists.” Clearly, his team talked to him and he later apologized. As fans remember 1017 is the house he grew up at in zone six, so it’s apopros he uses it for his own label.

The first signees were Foogiano, followed by Pooh Shiesty, Big Scarr, and So Icy Girlz. Icy Gang Vol. 1 debuted the single “Meeting”, with Guwop himself and Mulatto with a video released this week. The album has nineteen tracks loaded with Atlanta talent and flavor. The label is holding a covid friendly drive-in concert in College Park, Georgia Saturday … Wait for it…10/17. For now, fans can check out the album on Apple Music.
